Norwegian Jewel Cruise and/or Alaska Railroad
August 7th to August 22nd, 2023
 
Vancouver to Seward with the Norwegian Cruise lines
then onward from
Seward to Fairbanks with the Alaska Railroad

Passports are needed for the Cruise as well Vaccine cards (as of June 2022)
I.D. only for the Alaska Railroad.  No passports or vaccines for Alaska Railroad if you are doing land only. 
 
Please note, you can either do the land portion or the cruise portion or both.

Passports are required.  As well at this time, vaccines are no longer required for the cruise line and Canada but there are still some rules/testing we will have to address.

Itinerary:

• August 7th: Vancouver, Canada Depart: 5pm
• August 8th: Cruise Inside Passage
• August 9th: Ketchikan (Ward Cove) Arrive 7am – 4:00pm
• August 10th: Juneau Arrival: 11am Depart: 9pm
• August 11th: Skagway:  Arrival 8am – 8pm
• August 12th: Cruise Glacier Bay
• August 13th: Cruise Hubbard Glacier
• August 14th: Arrive Seward and Disembark: 5:00 am

 
PROMOTIONAL:
4 Amenities will be Included with the balcony & ocean view cabins.
Inside cabins will include only 2 amenities:

• Premium Beverage Package, Beverage or Soda package (gratuities not included)
• Ultimate Dining Package with 3 Meal package (gratuities not included)
• $50 USD Shore Excursion Credit (per cabin) or
• Internet Package of 250 minutes per cabin

 
3rd and 4th guests and children are welcomed and we would need to request a cabin to accommodate this, available upon request.

Alaska Railroad

$5000 per couple is an approximate for now for Gold Star & some hotels.  The Alaska Railroad can be less if you choose to go standard coach class instead of the Gold Class (Gold Class includes meals and 2 drink cards). Prices are based on a group price discount for the Gold Service in the Dome car from Seward to Fairbanks.  I am waiting for 2023 pricing to be released.

• Day 0: August 13, 2023 – This is only for those doing the train portion only: I would have you fly into Anchorage and stay 1 night here then take the train down to Seward to start the tour with the group. (Not included in the below package, this would be an add-on for the 13th).
• Day 1: August 14, 2023 – Stay in Seward 2 nights at Harbor 360 Hotel
  
• Day 2: August 15, 2023 – Day on your own
  
• Day 3: August 16, 2023 – Train to Anchorage for 2 nights at Comfort Inn Ship Creek
  
• Day 4: August 17, 2023 – Day on your own
  
• Day 5: August 18, 2023 –Train north to Denali for 2 nights staying at the Grande Denali
  
• Day 6: August 19, 2023 – Day on your own
  
• Day 7: August 20, 2023 – Train north to Fairbanks
  
• Day 9: August 22, 2023 – Day on your own
  
• Day 10: August 23, 2023 – You are welcomed to stay another night 
  

 
Please note, you do not have to do all of the above, if you choose to only go from Seward to Anchorage or up to Talkeetna then back to Anchorage that is an option as well. 
 
The Land portion above with the Alaska Railroad is an option and it can be modified. I will have more accurate prices for this later on as 2023 is not in the system as of yet. I have done this tour and LOVED it. I highly recommend joining me on this fantastic adventure in Alaska.
